    我非常荣幸地能应邀对本书作者——著名的陶艺家冯林华先生进行点评。冯林华先生在其作为市领导和陶艺家的杰出生涯中，已经赢得了很高的声誉。对他取得的成就我表示祝贺。我一直非常关注世界陶艺界的发展状况，尤其是中国。现代创新与中国辉煌的陶瓷史的结合开创了一门活力四射的艺术。作为一名中国的陶瓷艺术家，现正处于一个辉煌的时期，充满了机遇，付出就有回报。冯先生的作品既有东方传统的特色，又有现代艺术风格，构思新颖，色彩鲜艳，非常精美。我谨代表驻瑞士日内瓦的国际陶艺协会理事会和各位成员，在此对冯林华陶艺家的未来表示最诚挚的祝福，对他所取得的杰出成就表示祝贺。

　　It is a pleasure for me to be asked to contribute some words to this book on a major ceramic artist. Professor Feng Linhua has gained an impressive reputation during his distinguished career both as a leader and an artist. I congratulate his achievements. It is always of great interest to see what is happening in the world of ceramic art, especially in China. Modern initiatives together with China's glorious history in ceramics make for a dynamic art. To be a ceramic artist in China today is a rewarding time, full of possibilities and the results of one’s own Endeavour. His work has traditional peculiarity in the East with modern original concept, technicolored and delicate. On behalf of the Council and members of the International Academy of Ceramics, based in Geneva, Switzerland, I offer my sincere best wishes for the future of Professor Feng Linhua and for this book on his outstanding work.Janet Mansfield.
